Nicola Morris

Having started my Early Years career in 2001 it has always been an ambition of mine to open my own nursery. Dedicated to providing outstanding childcare to families in the surrounding area, i'm extremely proud to be opening this nursery to the local community.
I have studied many different areas within the Early Years Foundation Stage and hold a Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I have also completed several courses relating to Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children, Safe Recruitment of staff, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid

In 2004 i gained my first qualification as a Teaching Assistant whilst working in a local authority primary school. I have worked with children aged between 3-11 years old and have also supported children with additional needs in a specialist unit.
In 2012 i completed my Level 3 Teaching Assistants course, as well as several courses covering Attachment Theory, Supervision and Appraisal and Safeguarding. I have also completed my Paediatric First Aid Training, food hygiene and exemplary practice with Babies.
In 2019 I achieved my Level 2 Diploma in Early Years.

Leoni began working for us in April 2020 as a nursery apprentice working towards her Level 3 Early Years Educator Course.
Leoni has also completed her Level 2 Safeguarding Course and several additional courses relating to the EYFS.

Caitlin has had prior experience working within a preschool setting where she began her Level 2 Early Years qualification.

Gillian has prior experience working in a commercial catering setting and will be providing healthy meals for the children each day.
Gillian has completed her Food Hygiene Level 2 as well as an Early Years specific food Hygiene course.
